As you may be aware, Congo DR has been torned apart in almost continious 'War'
for 8 years now; so far, the conflict has claimed some 4 million lives, countless of human rights abuses and some 2 million
have been either internally or externally displaced. For the first time in history, Congo hold the highest percentage
of child soldiers and sexual abuses on girls (female) as young as 8 and old as 60. On top of this, burning and eating human flech is increasingly becoming warlords's sub culture.
Although Eastern Cong's war has roots into various political,
cultural/tribal conflict and economic distability, the hidden/untold reason of Rwandan and Ugandan's indirect invasion and
Western societies' s failure of addressing the ongoing man made chaos is Congo's
natural resources.
This site is not just aimed to highlight countless of physical, phychological
as well as environmental abuses and injustice Congo DR is facing in the eyes of the world, but also to raise awarenesses and
campaign on behalf of million innocent women and children trapped in this almost continious 8 years war.
We acknowledge the fact that it will not be easy to get the world
on Congo's side, probably the results might not be emperical in our generation, but we do believe its worth
doing so.
Alone its almost impossible to go forward but with your participation in watever
form, we will make positive progress and lay the very foundation of Congo's future. Your participation in any form is very needed and appriciated.
